Image Privacy Checker

Check image privacy and provenance

Review exact supported values for location, capture time, device, editing software, and other readable metadata locally before sharing. Values are visible by default and can be masked.

Privacy analysis stays in this browser. File bytes and readable metadata values are not sent anywhere.

Review disclosure risk before sharing

Photos can contain location, capture-time, device, and editing metadata. Exact supported values are visible by default in the local report. You can mask sensitive values without sending them anywhere.

A missing finding means that supported metadata was not detected. It does not prove that an image is authentic, unedited, or free of every proprietary payload.

Examples

Photo before posting

Check whether a photo contains supported location or device details before sharing it publicly.

Local review only

Analyze an image without selecting a removal action; the original remains untouched.

Image Privacy Checker FAQ

Does the checker upload my photo?

No. Supported metadata is inspected in your browser. Exact supported values are visible by default in the local report. You can mask sensitive values at any time.

Which image metadata can I inspect?

The report checks supported location, capture time, device, editing software, and other readable metadata. Not found does not rule out unknown or proprietary payloads.

Can I remove metadata after checking?

Yes. Cleanup is optional and runs only after you confirm it. The original stays unchanged, and only a verified removal result confirms the supported checks found no covered metadata in the generated copy.
